I accidentally learned how to weld in high school when I mistakingly signed up for welding instead of equine science

I can't cook, like at all, but I was smart enough to marry a firefighter...and he's an amazing cook so fortunately our family won't starve

I have always been the go to for hair. Even now, when my high school besties and I get together, I style their hair before we hit the town. After high school, I had no idea what I "wanted to be when I grew up" so I spent some time in college trying science, psychology, and interior design. Feeling frustrated and no closer to finding my "career" I decided to try cosmetology school. BEST DECISION EVER! I have never looked back and I love this career. I love that I get to be creative, tell stories all day, connect with amazing women, and leave them feeling refreshed, uplifted, and confident. If I'm not at the salon, you'll find me chauffeuring our boys to and from activities, a baseball field somewhere, building something new for the house or salon with the hubby, or holding down the couch with a book in my hands.

I mean what is better than walking into the salon, fully trusting your stylist, leaving the craziness of life behind, and getting pampered and recharging for a few hours? Can I get an Amen!
